Introduced in director Ishirō Honda and special effects maestro Eiji Tsuburaya's seafaring sci-fi masterpiece *Atragon* (1963 — *Kaitei Gunkan* / The Undersea Warship), Manda serves as the venerated guardian deity of the ancient sunken Mu Empire. Measuring an astonishing 150 meters in length and weighing 30,000 metric tons, Manda possesses a serpentine turquoise-scaled body, majestic stag-like horns, and fiery crimson whiskers. Manda (Singular Point) represents the bold reinvention of Toho's legendary sea serpent in the acclaimed hard sci-fi anime series *Godzilla Singular Point* (2021). Departing from the ancient guardian deity of the Undersea Kingdom of Mu seen in the Showa era (*Atragon*, 1963) and its Millennium appearance, this Reiwa incarnation depicts Manda as a thriving marine species (species-based kaiju) moving in massive pods along ocean currents suffused with Archetype Red Dust. Masterfully conceptualized by creature designer Eiji Yamamori, this Manda combines physical traits of oarfish, lionfish, centipedes, and traditional Eastern dragons, officially measuring an enormous **210 meters** in total body length. Clad in segmented crimson armor plates that seamlessly blend with red-tinted waters, Manda pods navigate coastal waters with breathtaking speed and predatory coordination. Throughout the series, Manda pods disrupt Tokyo Bay maritime commerce, capsize commercial vessels, and engage Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) warships before becoming prime prey for the pursuing Godzilla Aquatilis. In the Tokyo climax, a massive Manda coils its 210-meter serpentine body around Godzilla Ultima in a ferocious close-quarters duel before being decapitated by Godzilla's concentrated Atomic Breath.
