The Wart Dog (scientific classification: *Cerberus Ulcus*) is a ferocious, pack-hunting quadrupedal canine-hyena superspecies prowling the rugged rocky badlands, canyons, and fungal forests of the Hollow Earth in the MonsterVerse. Standing approximately 14 meters at the shoulder with a distinctive hunched posture, calloused warty hide, and a brutal maw armed with jagged yellow fangs, the Wart Dog represents the pinnacle of cooperative mammalian pack predation. Coordinated in packs of four to eight individuals under an Alpha, they deploy pursuit strategies to funnel prey into natural bottlenecks. In *Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)*, an aggressive Wart Dog pack relentlessly pursued Kong before being outmaneuvered by the giant ape's improvised geological boulder trap.
