Doug (affectionately dubbed *Titanus Doug* by the global MonsterVerse fanbase and creative team) is a stout, heavily armored quadrupedal reptilian kaiju indigenous to the subterranean jungles and crystal ravines of the Hollow Earth. First seen in *Godzilla vs. Kong* (2021) crunching happily on a Rockclaw crab, Doug instantly became a viral sensation due to his bulldog-like waddling stature and brazen nonchalance. He made a celebrated return in *Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire* (2024), cheekily snatching a fresh Wart Dog carcass directly from Kong and scurrying off without an ounce of fear.
